Born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Trevor Lerner studied drama at the University of Saskatchewan under the tutelage of Henry Woolf. His theatre credits there include roles in "Romeo & Juliet", "Hard Times", "Lone Star", "Private Wars", "Sexual Perversity in Chicago". and "The Grapes of Wrath" for which He received a U of S Drama Department 'Hangar Award' in 1997. Trevor moved to the amazing west coast in 1999, and pursued acting part time while working for movie theaters, Microsoft, and HSBC before almost dying from a hospital infection in 2009, which allowed him to pursue acting full time. In 1999, Trevor sold all of his possessions and flew to Australia with a dream to be in the next Star Wars film. Trevor started college with a path to go into pre-law. However, after falling asleep in his Political Science class on many occasions, he decided that really wasn't the way to go. He had taken a Drama class as one of his electives, and fell in love. It felt like he had come home. It stuck.
